A 28-year-old man has admitted throwing a bottle in a Dundee nightclub, which hit a woman on the head.
Francis Monaghan, of Ochil Crescent, Stirling, pleaded guilty to one charge on indictment at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Monaghan admitted culpably and recklessly throwing a bottle, striking Debbie Strachen on the head, to her severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
The incident took place at Liquid nightclub, South Ward Road, on March 29 2015.
Sentence was deferred until Tuesday March 29 for preparation of a narrative and reports and assessments.
After the incident Ms Strachan, 31, was operated on by a plastic surgeon and needed 30 stitches in her face.
At the time, doctors told the mum of two that she will likely have three permanent scars on her face as a result of the attack.
